There is a gap between a write being accepted and that write being visible to the thing making a decision. For batch analytics the gap is irrelevant. For an agent acting on a customer’s last transaction, it is the entire problem.

That is the starting point for this series. Not a product session, and not a briefing. A table of senior people working through where that lag actually sits in their architecture, whether anyone has measured it, and what it would take to close.

Each table works through the same three questions, shaped by what the room brings to them.

The first question is whether anyone in the room can state, with evidence, how long it takes for a committed write to become visible to their AI layer. Most cannot, and the answer usually surprises.
